SACRED SEXINESS AT 70

1/10/2022

Picture

In my younger years I was encouraged and complied with the notion that it is ‘not the done thing’ to flaunt any sexiness. Girls who freely flaunted their sexiness were dismissed as outrageous flirts and tarts – not the edible variety.
As a consequence of this imposed and self-imposed suppression of any natural womanly sexiness I had spent much of my life with a virtual chastity belt suppressing any awareness of my true nature and sacredness as a woman. I married, had three children but any hint of sexiness was confined to the privacy of the bedroom.

I was 56 years old when I first came across the teachings of The Ageless Wisdom and gradually began to free myself of so many – oh, so many! – ideals and beliefs, and particularly those around being a woman. The ice started to melt, and I have begun to reconnect to the beauty and sacredness of living in a woman’s body. The word ‘sacred’ has taken on its true meaning, whereas before I had been led and fed to believe that it was confined to objects that were deemed to be sacred owing to their association with religious objects within any established religious belief.

The teachings of The Ageless Wisdom presented the fact of the sacredness held in divine delicateness within the chalice, or womb, of a woman. Presentations of Sacred Movement allowed a reconnection to this area of my body and with the gentle figure eight movements emanating from the chalice deep within my body true sexiness has been re-ignited. When true sexiness and true sacredness are one and the same there is an exquisite realisation that this sacredness is present in us all just waiting for us to reconnect and feel the beauty within.

I realise that the overt flaunting of sexiness that I witnessed as a teenager was a performance put out to attract others, similar to a baboon’s bottom. The sexiness of the sacredness I now feel within and that flows through my body, is not to advertise any availability or desire but to emanate the Divine transparency of the woman I am.

I am 72 and wouldn’t change the beauty of the sacred sexiness I now feel for one day of the contracted existence of how I lived when I was 22.
