SENSITIVITY WHILE LIVING AND IN 'DYING'

28/2/2020

Picture

Living with the label ‘terminally ill’ can sound rather tragic, though in truth we are all terminal, here but for part of our cycle of return. There are many blessings and opportunities offered that one might not encounter so immediately without this reminder that one’s earthly days are numbered.
One awareness that has deepened for me in this last couple of months is how truly sensitive we are. The more the body discards through surrendering, accepting and letting go, the more transparency there is, the more that can be seen, felt and read with people and in the world around.

Is this not true for every stage of life?

In this awareness I feel everything more acutely and immediately. I am touched deeply by the innocence and freshness of a baby, I am moved by the love I feel for people, tears flow without any holding back, joy is felt as divine. A light ignited adds a flame to the ever-expanding fire, we each being the flame and the fire both.

Also any movement away from our true nature is felt as the abuse and discord that it is: a harsh sound, a movement in anxiousness, anger or frustration or a judgement sensed. Everything is being communicated and felt and also we can feel whether it is in or out of alignment with our soulful natures. We are registering it ALL.

We are divinely sensitive beings and through life we have ways to counter and layer over such delicately refined attunement to our natural way of being.

We may feel it is all too much to allow ourselves to feel so open and transparent in a world that for the most part does not yet appreciate such sensitivity, though in truth it is not too much. Who would want to miss the pure delight of meeting each other in this light and experiencing the sheer beauty that is all around us?

What is it we all truly crave and want in this world … when we have exhausted all the earthly riches we have attained, strived and sacrificed ourselves for – often losing ourselves and our inner-connection along the way? Is it not to be met in love, the love reflected that is in truth our own … love that is ever beholding us all equally?

A deeply beautiful sharing about our true sensitive state of being, so much of this is covered over in reaction to the harshness of this world, to be open and transparent is to deeply feel all aspects of life giving it an exquisite enrichment within and without our being..
