With the love and support of the practitioners of Universal Medicine, Tim and I were able to come to accept death and all that comes with this passage as an opportunity for healing, growth and evolution.
Over the three months prior to Tim's passing this incredible support was offered to us and I can say it completely transformed what could have been a harrowing time to one of great discovery, acceptance and even joy!
Tim became so much more open than I had ever experienced him before and he was addressing areas of his life that he had kept well locked up.
He was expressing more honestly, which was a shock at first as he previously kept a lot close to his chest. It was such a joy to experience him being more himself. He was very clear about what he wanted and whom he wanted around him during these last months.
Having spent his life compromising himself for the sake of others this was empowering. It felt a privilege to be sharing this time of great healing – it was deeply touching.
I was also going through immense healing with the support of the Universal Medicine therapies and was able to deal with my grief more openly and as it arose. I was beginning to learn that it was not a weakness to need support and I started to become more allowing of my vulnerability, welcoming others in, and being open to areas in my own life that needed more honesty.
What was also very beautiful to witness was how the healing environment we had created at home was affecting others who came to visit.
They could feel the commitment to love and did not come with their own emotional agenda but just brought themselves. There was an ease and a sense of relief really that they didn't have to do anything, rather they could ‘just be’.
Four days before Tim passed he walked up the stairs unassisted to the bedroom and we both knew that would be the last time he did. He passed away at home as he had wanted. There were a lot of people around on that day but he waited until only I was present in the room. He passed graciously in the late afternoon.
It was so different from what I expected or feared his passing might be. It was honestly more like a quiet celebration of what was to come.
He knew when it was time to pass and he surrendered to it.
It is because of the inspiring work of Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine’s commitment to truth that others are inspired to be living examples of this love.
In my experience this true support has the potential to be profoundly transforming for all those involved, as it was in our case. For this I am ever appreciative.
