This article centers on the very core of our bodies – our bones. We have language that describes how profoundly we can feel things to the deepest part of us such as ‘it cut me deep to my core’, ‘frozen to the bone’ and ‘I can feel it in my bones’. And so when our very core physical foundations, our bones, break down – medically known as osteopenia and osteoporosis – it most certainly is worthy of pondering on ‘Why?’ |
